These are just some of the local events through July and August.

• 25th July Dulverton fate flower and produce show childrens races and stalls
• 26th July Sheep dog trials at Brompton Regis, see real sheep dogs in action, refreshments and stalls.
• August is a good month to visit Exmoor with the family as there is plenty going on in the villages.
• 15th August Brompton Regis Gymkhana a village show with craft show, stalls and ponies to watch games for the children and home made refreshments.
• 21st August Dunster Show a large agricultural show with some thing for everyone, from trators, show cattle and sheep, horses craft stalls and a fun fair. A full day out.
• 30th Aug Upton fete stalls and fun and games for the children.
  

Wimbleball lake has water sports for any one to try and clubs for the children run through out the summer holidays. To find out more look at their web site www.swlakestrust.org.uk.

There is a play area for little ones and older children and woodland walks to see the willow creatues.
